A second proof point for hospitality

When we set out to bring our intelligence core into hospitality, one live pilot was never going to be the full story. Every industry we've entered — Home, Business, Factory, Agriculture, Logistics — has been shaped by working with more than one operator, because no two operating environments surface the same edge cases. Mee's Sushi gives us that second, materially different environment inside hospitality: a fast-moving, multi-site Japanese sushi takeaway business, running on tight prep windows and high order throughput, rather than a café and bar format.

That difference matters. A framework that only has to work for one kind of venue isn't really a platform — it's a custom build wearing a platform's name. Testing across a café and bar group and a multi-site sushi takeaway chain in the same city, on the same core, is exactly the kind of stress test that tells us whether we've actually built something that generalises.

“Mee's Sushi runs on speed and consistency — every order, every site, every day. We're looking forward to seeing where automation can take pressure off our team during peak service without changing what makes our food and our service work.”

Paul Job, Operational Manager, Mee's Sushi

“Signing with Mee's Sushi soon after Brew & Brew tells us hospitality operators are ready for this. Two very different formats, two full pilots, one core — that's how we build something operators can actually trust.”

Phi Vu Tran, CEO, Bridgin Automation

What we're building together

The engagement is structured around a definitive Commercial Services Agreement to follow, with a total commercial value of $200,000 (AUD) and full delivery targeted within 12 months of commencement, across three phases:

01

Discovery & System Architecture Design (Months 1–3)

Our team assesses Mee's Sushi's current operational workflows, POS systems, kitchen equipment and communication channels, then co-designs a unified AI framework tailored to multi-site takeaway operations.

02

Pilot Deployment & Testing (Months 4–6)

The framework is implemented at a designated test-site restaurant within the Mee's Sushi network, with performance evaluated against response times, order accuracy, stock efficiency and safety compliance.

03

Chain-Wide Rollout & Optimisation (Months 7–12)

Following a successful pilot, the platform is scaled across all of Mee's Sushi's operating branches, with ongoing maintenance, model training and performance optimisation provided by our team.

It's the same staged discipline we bring to every deployment — discovery before design, a live pilot before scale, and a rollout that's earned rather than assumed.

Building a hospitality reference set

With Brew & Brew and Mee's Sushi both now underway, we're building toward something more useful than a single case study: a reference set that spans café and bar, and fast-moving multi-site takeaway. Together, they'll shape a hospitality offering informed by real operating pressure across two very different formats, not a single environment stretched to look general.

If both pilots perform as expected, the resulting platform will be ready to support a much broader range of multi-site hospitality operators across Canberra and beyond.

Follow the rollout

We'll share updates as the Mee's Sushi engagement moves through Discovery, Pilot and Rollout over the next 12 months, alongside our ongoing work with Brew & Brew. If you run a multi-site hospitality business and want to know what this could look like for your operation, we'd like to hear from you.
